Once again, luxury cars adorned by SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL; and this time, it is much more glitter, shiny and blinking than the 30,000 Swarovsky crystals on Lexus Sports Car exhibited in Taiwan, December 2008. A popular car accessory company GARSON / D.A.D has applied 300,000 Austrian certified Swarovsky crystals on each of Mercedes Benz SL600 – one in gold and the other in silver – to make them the star of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2010.

This year’s event in Tokyo is the second appearance of the silver MILLION DOLLAR MERCEDES BENZ SL600 after its first inauguration last year. The English cartoonist and illustrator Gerald Anthony Scarfe is best known for his work as editorial cartoonist for the Sunday Times and illustrator for the New Yorker. He provided caricatures of Paul Eddington for the opening and closing sequences of Yes Minister, a satirical British sitcom in the 1980’s. He was also the man behind the famous album cover THE WALL of PINK FLOYD in 1979. Upon his dedication, Gerald Scarfe has been named one of the 40 most influential journalists by Press Gazette on 2005. The next year, he was awarded ‘Cartoonist of the Year’ at the British Press Awards 2006; and in the 2008 Birthday Honours, Gerald Scarfe was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).

2010 Range Rover's Dual View Navigation System
Two people on the car surely have different concerns in mind; more particularly when they’re respectively sitting on the front and the back; For instance, when driving your car, you need information from the GPS navigation system which of course your children on the back don’t care about; all they need is watching DVD cartoon movie.
And now, the new device by LAND ROVER is to indulge both the driver and passengers as it provides completely different images simultaneously. Unlike the SPLITVIEW of Mercedes Benz S Class Summer 2009… which splits the screen, this 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system incorporates the patented PARALLAX BARRIER TECHNOLOGY to displays two images in the same screen depending on the viewing angle. The technology alternately hides and reveals columns of pixels to the left and right hand views of the screen.
